Who We Are & What We Do
The Gay and Lesbian Association of the Peace (GALAP) has served the 2SLGBTQIA+ community of greater Grande Prairie since 2004.
Through peer led support, we aim to increase quality of life for everyone through better understanding of sexual diversity and identity.

We provide speakers and educators by request on issues such as identifying homophobia and understanding diversity.
Goal
Our goal is to improve the quality of life and empower those who identify as a sexual or gender minority within our community, and its supporters through communication, education, participation, and understanding; thereby incorporating our unique strengths and values into everyday life.
Vision
Our Vision is that every person, no matter their sexual orientation and/or identity, has the right to be accepted for who they are and who they will grow to become.
